Beth Ditto designing new Autumn / Winter range for Evans

28 April 2010 No Comment

Beth Ditto is a style icon for plus size fashion and after the successful launch of her plus size range for high street and online retailer Evans last year Beth is back. Beth will be designing a new range for Evans for their Autumn / winter collections this year and as with Beth’s last range she is using her personal style to influence the range. There are no sneak previews yet but the range is expected to be a range of decades with inspiration taken from decades such as the 80’s punk and 40’s post war prints.

Evans head of design, Lisa-Marie Peacock has said “This is a concept for girls with different styles, shapes and sizes. Beth wanted to make modernised versions of style through the years, to create a unique and mix-matching collection.”

This is great news as Beth is a great style icon and has been busy with her band, The Gossip creating her own unique style. She is a great role model for plus size women, never afraid to show off those curves in proud bold designs. The collection will be in sizes 14 – 32 and will be available in Evans stores around mid September and Beth is expected to promote the new range with some personal appearances and the launch events.
